Panic attacks are a matter that many of you deal with. It is an unpleasant experience that begins with excessive thinking in combination with fear. Thoughts of low negative energy, cause the mood levels to drop suddenly, and fill the mind with fear. Fear brings panic and keeps the person from being able to recover in a short amount of time. During that time, the mind is filled with negative thoughts, and excess worry and fear that ultimately effect the body that begins to shake uncontrollably. Moreover, It accelerates all the senses and causes high blood pressure, fast heartbeat and fast breathing. Panic attacks happen rapidly, cause the mind and body to go through excessive change in a short amount of time, and might even cause the person to faint. As I have experienced these attacks a few times, It is safe to say that it is a very unpleasant experience; one that needs support, as well as a few tips to help us through it fast.
As you have already realized, panic attacks result from the mind and especially our thoughts. Over thinking, worrying and stressing cause the mind to suffer by filling it with negative emotions. To prevent panic attacks, a good way is to avoid this bad habit by occupying the mind with happy activities, or by removing thought altogether with meditation. But what do you do once those attacks already take a hold of you?
At that time it is difficult to alter bad thoughts to good ones. You tend to give in to the negative thinking and worsen the effect. For this, a good tip is to avoid thought altogether. Focus on your breath. Block any thoughts, block any one or anything that happens around you and focus all your senses on your breath. The way your breath sounds, the way it moves your body, the way it brings oxygen in. Follow your breath and find the center of your being. If you go within your breath, you will be able to find the connection with your higher self. Have the desire to be one with your divinity at that time, to experience and feel the way your soul does. Immediate peace and safety will fill you once you find that inner center. With the help of your breath, your higher self is able to infuse you with high vibration from spirit and to help you relax.
Another great tip is to tap the upper side of your hand along your heartbeat rhythm. Block out any thoughts, voices or people from your surroundings and focus on the tapping. Try to feel the tapping on your hand, experience it. Sense the warmth of your palm as it taps, try to sync the tapping with your heartbeat and notice as that will begin to slow down.
The angels presence always helps us to be calm. From my experience Mother Mary also, immediately soothes me. Below I include a special invocation for those moments you need immediate intervention.
“I kindly call upon lighted angels to surround me with their blessed presence now. I ask the dearest Mother Mary to hold me in her arms and help me to calm, release my worry and fear, help to soothe me back to light. Angels help me to restore my good health and positive vibration now, and help all be well now. Thank you, and so it is.”
