I was guided to write this blog post. The truth is, as we expand into higher consciousness our beliefs and habits change. We are guided to more healthy options, to high vibrational activities and choices that will benefit our mind, body and spirit. One of those choices that we can make right now, is to walk with our feet naked on the ground as much as we can. The benefits of walking barefoot for our health are great, but the benefits this has for our spirit are greater.
As a child, whenever I walked barefoot my mum always gave me the same warning “don’t walk barefoot, your feet will become flat.” Boy, how wrong she was! You see children follow their natural instincts. Walking barefoot made so much sense to me, it came natural, it felt good, it felt free, it felt empowering somehow. But similar to all things, we become influenced by the 3rd-dimensional world around us and suddenly what felt good and natural, took a scary turn. I didn’t know what she meant really, but it sounded scary, so that was the end of enjoying the freedom of walking with my bare feet. A world of being uncomfortable and restricted took its place; High heels that brought pain, shoes that were too big or too small and made walking difficult, and yes, those moments were it took a wrong turn and found myself flat on the ground on my butt, feeling embarrassed and humiliated. (Admit it, it happened to you too).
Nonetheless, as I enter into higher consciousness, the more I realized I didn’t want to feel that way anymore. I refused to be restricted with shoes that were uncomfortable or that made walking difficult for me. It all resulted in a trash bag full of shoes and my wardrobe being left with only a few ones mostly trainers and flip-flops. As I am home, I choose to walk barefoot more and more even if that means cleaning your feet in the shower every so often. But it feels good to get that freedom back, that empowerment, and increased in happiness.
Here’s a deeper looking the power of being barefoot. At the dawn of time, people were more connected to earth; they lived outside, played outside, and walked with no shoes. It is not random that those ancestors, were very wise, and their link to their higher consciousness was very evident. They were in constant connection to the angels, Divine beings and their own Higher voice. They were happier and lived a more fulfilling life as a result. Those were the times when earth and humans were on a 5th-dimensional plane of consciousness where ego and fear did not reside. Now, as we move once again from the 3rd-dimensional ego consciousness to the 5th, we are asked to embrace similar choices that will help us become healthier and happier for our mind, body and spirit. Walking barefoot is a choice, but if you begin to incorporate it slowly into your experience, you will notice a massive shift. I’m not saying you should ditch the shoes once and for all, but whenever you feel comfortable try to place your feet on the ground inside or outside to receive huge great benefits.
THE BENEFITS OF WALKING BAREFOOT FOR OUR BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT
The benefits of walking barefoot for our body, is that blood has a better circulation through our whole body. You are not restricted by tight shoes that feel uncomfortable on our feet. The nerves that end on your toes have the freedom to flow as much blood necessary for our whole body to function better. As a result, you get an urge of energy increase and a better mood. You have stability and your posture re-aligns. You release disease and your immune system is much stronger.
The benefits of walking barefoot for your mind are plenty. Firstly, it brings you freedom. Think about walking shoes that restrict your every movement, versus having the freedom to twist and curl your toes at any time. You feel comfortable as the ground beautifully hugs your whole feet. You feel happier, as you return to your natural state of being, and to earth’s increased energy that helps you move to the 5th dimension and let go of all the stress, tension, depression and illness that darkened your mood and state of being.
Last but not least, our spirit thrives as we become more connected to earth and its energy that is available to all of us. Have you heard of grounding or Earthing? Our feet have energy points called “chakras”, those feet chakra, receive earthly energy that help you be centered in your physical body and grounded to earth. One benefit of this is, is that negative energy in your body, is released out to earth, as you receive clean, healthy energy that keeps you aligned and rejuvenated. Whether you are inside or outside, your feet absorb this energy as you walk barefoot. Moreover, a link with nature is more evident, as you reconnect to it, you reconnect with your own natural state of consciousness and that makes you feel happier, more fulfilled, and bursting with love, while you let go of that negative thinking and egoistic state of being. You become connected with your greater self, as well as with all around, you become whole, aligned with the whole world that is indeed part of you.
HOW YOU CAN APPLY IT
Whenever you are home, instead of restricting yourself, ditch the shoes and enjoy the freedom of movement.
When the situation arises walk on the grass, or enjoy the feel of the sand with your feet.
As you vibrate on a higher energy, when your mood is high, when you enjoy the feel and sensation of walking barefoot, disease, and germs can’t connect with you, as they are low vibrational experiences, but that’s a post for another time. The point is, don’t worry about the dirt and germs enjoy the feeling of it, and you can always wash your feet when the need arises.
For the women, avoid high heels as they not only strain your feet, curve your soles and disturb the blow flow, but also they raise your feet chakras even further from the earth, and restrict the earthy energy of well-being to enter your body.
On a final note, did you notice that Yoga is better practised being barefoot? As the mind relaxed, you connect to greater energy through your breathing, that connects you with your true divinity, and with the physical body and earth. It’s no surprise that so many yogis and other great ones choose to walk barefoot. Even Jesus walked barefoot so many times. Take an example from the great, great ones, and apply walking barefoot more often during your day, and let me know how it goes below.
Did you notice a shift?
