There are many loving souls that reach out asking for a hand to lift them up. They want to be happy again, they want someone to tell them all is right. This article is for all of you. Happiness is a choice. If you make a strong decision to be happy then we help you get started.
First, accept things as they are, do not try to change anything. It happened and know all are in the past, you are starting fresh and new. No need to return back, to remember, to blame, to hate, to wonder what if, or feel bad. Today is a new day and all you have to do is make a choice, leave the old behind and start anew. You must step away from grief as that does not serve you, find your strengths, peace, love of life, courage and happiness. It is vital to have self love as well as when you do that, everything will fall into place quickly. If you are sad nothing works out for you. Snap out of it. YOU MUST LOVE TO LIVE.
Secondly, choose a pretty diary and call it “gratitude journal”. Everyday write things you are grateful for and the reasons they make you happy. Write all beautiful experiences, people, events and ideas that went through each day or more general ones. I am grateful for my children because they make me happy. I am grateful for my bed because it keeps me warm and cozy. I am grateful for my garden because it is beautiful. I am grateful for my hair because they are long and shiny. I am grateful for the lunch I made because it was exceptional. Fill those pages every day.
Look at yourself in the mirror and talk to yourself, be kind, give compliments, give self love and nurture. Learn to love who you are inside and out. Take care of yourself, paint your nails, get a massage, smile. You deserve to be happy, and you are the one that sets the tone for others to follow. How can someone else love you if you do not love yourself? Do not look for love and acceptance in others, all that matters is you. Look yourself in the mirror, discuss, compliment, accept, love. Great things begin with that.
Finally, know you deserve to be happy, always. Please yourself and not another. Make yourself a priority, do things that make you happy, start a new hobby that makes you feel good. Do what makes you happy. Choose better feeling actions and do not blame yourself later, you are living for you and no one else.
And so, in time, you will move from sadness to happiness. All that it takes is a decision to shift, and willingness to live by your new ideals. Your life transforms when your moods shifts. The happier you are, the better life you get given by the law of attraction, of giving and receiving. Do whatever makes you happy and everything else will follow. It is that easy.
